Textile Touches of Escape and Migration

“How does the clothing and the experience of the other affect me?”
“What do I personally have to do with flight, migration or integration?”
“In what way do these themes touch me?”

These were the guiding questions of a workshop held at the Orgelfabrik Karlsruhe Durlach on April 5 and 6. The participants took an in-depth look at 42 submitted dress artworks and the accompanying texts. They worked intensively on performances, which they presented to an audience on April 10 and 21.
